Former Grizzlie and current Vees superstar; Wade Murphy has committed to the University of North Dakota's Fighting Sioux for the 2013/14 season, after deciding against his original choice of Merrimack.
Murphy, a Victoria native has had offers from the USHL's, Green Bay Gamblers and is on the protected list of the WHL's Victoria Royals.
Wade, who was expected to to go in the last NHL draft, however ,was over looked, did get the chance to attend the Calgary Flames prospect camp this summer.
Murphy, joins former BCHL and Vees stars the McMillan brothers Mark and Mitch, with the Fighting Sioux. North Dakota are seven time national NCAA Div 1 Champions.
