Gerry Fitzgerald is the BCHL player of the week

Gerry Fitzgerald

I remember watching Gerry Fitzgerald, three years ago beat the Saanich Braves almost single handedly. I believe a 6-1/6-0 win at Pearkes that night.
Gerry, had 3 or 4 points that game and was hit and whacked multiple times from the likes of Ryan Smith, Trevor Crosby and Sam Waterfield, as well as others from that tough Braves defence. Gerry, got up each time after taking some punishing hits and was the game winner that night in a highly competitive game.
Those days, Gerry was a lone Fitzgerald wolf with Leo and Myle playing for the Oceanside Generals that season.
I remember a certain hockey parent at the time say......"that little guy is unstoppable".
Three years on, the triplets are playing some great hockey for the Grizzlies and Gerry is leading the way at this time; with an impressive 4 goals and 4 assists in 7 games and a worthy BCHL player of the week this week. He is currently 5th on the BCHL scoring list going into this weekend.
