BCHL gossip

Former Grizzlie and fan favourite Stefan Gonzales suited up for the PIJHL's, Junior B, Aldergrove Kodiak's to start the season. I'm assuming that this is until Stefan gets a trade from Oakville, to a little closer to home. With Gonzales's talent, I'm sure it won't be long until he is gracing the
BCHL/ Junior A stage again in the near future.

Alex Holland's, BCHL merry go round continues. After he was traded from the Grizzlies to the Vees, he was then sent to the Smoke Eaters where he played two games and now has been shipped to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Alex, is a solid BCHL forward and should do well in the Salmon Arm.

Speaking of Salmon Arm, Troy Mick the Head Coach/ GM of the Backs has hired former Caps Head coach, Scott Robinson to take over the coaching duties while Mick concentrates on the GM role.
In Scott Robinson, the Backs, get one of the better coaches the league has seen in the last 10 years, being very successful in Duncan, including two BCHL coach of the year awards and more recently he was Head Coach/GM of the recently defunct NAHL, Dawson Creek Rage.
