Congratulations to local boy and ex-Grizzlies player Nick Buchanan, on his NCAA Div 1 scholarship to the University of Minnesota State - Mankato Mavericks starting for the 2012/13 season. Nick, was traded to the Penticton Vees earlier in the season for Mike Moran. A tall agile defencemen, Buchanan has been an impact player since his arrival in Penticton.
Now in his last season of junior, Buchanan, played three seasons for the Grizzlies appearing in 122 regular season games, amassing 6 goals and 32 assists (plus playoff appearances and points)
