Big congratulations goes out to Wade Murphy who has commited to NCAA Divison 1, Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts for 2013. The Merrimack Warriors, who's hockey program is known for it's great reputation. After a tough few years, the Warriors finished 9th in the nation with a 22-8-4 record last season, which has really turned this hockey program around. They boast in there ranks ex-Grizzlies captain and favorite Jordan Heywood.
Murphy, after a good rookie season has really come out on fire in the first quarter of this 2011/12 BCHL season. Amassing 10 goals, 11 assists for 21 points so far, Wade should add his offensive talents to the Warriors in 2013 quite nicely.
