Ex Grizzlie defender Bruin Macdonald who played with the club last season, has signed for his home town team the Coquiltam Express.
Highly touted as 15/16 yr old, he played two and half seasons with the Prince George Cougars in the WHL, before landing with the Grizzlies.
Bruin, played 14 games in a Grizzlies uniform and at times looked like a keeper. Bruin, had 1 goal and 4 assists, amassing 26 penalty minutes for Victoria.
After leaving the Grizzlies, he was part of what would be the Kyle St.Denis trade ( I could be wrong) and ended up in Vernon before heading back to Major Junior with the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL. Talk about getting to know Canada through your hockey travels!!!
