Cam Reid, who played with the Grizzlies for two years during the 2007-2009 seasons, has left his NCAA team, St.Cloud State and has signed with the WHL Portland Winterhawks.
The Highly touted Reid, along with his brother Brad, showed flashes of brilliance during his time with the Grizzlies, but, never really lived up to the full hype. A 7th round pick of the Nashville Predators, Reid was traded by Victoria to the Westside Warriors at trade deadline day during the RBC season.

Reid, who joins a talented Winterhawks line up, looks to be making his WHL debut soon.

DYLAN NOWAKOWSKI TRADED TO THE AJHL

Former Grizzlies favourite Dylan Nowakowski has been traded from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs to the AJHL's Brooks Bandits. This move gives Dylan a shot at the playoffs and potential a trip to the RBC cup this season, with Brooks who are leading the AJHL's South Division with 70pts and have only lost 6 games all season.
Nowakowski, who played over 65 games for the Grizzlies amassing 40 points was known as a hardworking, energetic forward with a nose for goal during his time with Victoria.

Good luck to Dylan in Brooks and I'm sure many Grizzlies fans will be keeping tabs on his progress.
