Keeping tabs on former Grizzlies

 


 
 



Sam Grist - Former Grizzlie and local boy, Sam Grist was traded this week from the Tri-City Americans to the WHL powerhouse Kamloops Blazers. The Blazers, should present Sam with a great opportunity to further his Major Junior career with Guy Charon's team, who are hotly tipped to win the WHL crown this season. Grist, are big bodied D-man played one season with the Grizzlies, is a force on the blue line, who played in 45 games during the 2009/10 season.

Justin Courtnell - Since finishing up an impressive three years at Boston University, Justin was picked up by the Providence Bruins, the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins.

Justin, didn't quite stick in Providence at this point, but, will get a chance to show what he can do in the pro ranks with the Bruins ECHL affiliate the South Carolina Stingrays.
Courtnell, a former 7th round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightening,  appeared in over 120 regular season games as a Grizzlies amassing 114 points.
