Great news announced today, that Sean Robertson has secured a well deserved scholarship to the NCAA's division 1, Merrimack College.
Sean, a former Grizzlies captain who also leads the Salsa/Grizzlies team in all time appearances with 216 in the black and gold uniform. Robertson, who played the better part of 5 seasons in Victoria before a trade to the Vernon Vipers back in December, was a defender who really played for the jersey and a great guy to have in the locker room with his positive attitude.
Robertson, always a player who took time out to chat to the fans and really make the effort, was a great ambassador on and off the ice for the Grizzlies
Sean, will team up with former defensive partner Jordan Heywood for this upcoming season with the Merrimack Warriors; and next year will be joined by ex-Grizzlies Wade Murphy and Alex Holland for the 2013/14 season.
5 years of hard work has paid off for Sean and Grizzlies fans wish you well in the NCAA ranks.
