Wentachee WA, BCHL team soon to be a reality!!!

A reversal by Hockey USA, to allow a franchise from Wenatchee WA to join the BCHL, has been approved after the application was originally rejected.
Wentachee, has seen great success on the ice and especially in attendance after current Jnr hockey team, the Wenatchee Wild have been playing in the NAHL; which is a Junior hockey league regarded as below Jnr A and above Jnr B standard, despite what the sales and marketing team of the NAHL might tell you( so kinda of a Jnr A- level).
Wenatchee's arena the "Town Toyota Arena" is  an excellent Junior hockey building which opened in 2008 with a capacity of 4300 for hockey. The NAHL's Wild, has averaged an impressive 2800-3200 in the last few years and a hockey enthusiastic market like Wenatchee, makes the BCHL a stronger league overnight.
The only issue at this time is the arena management/City of Wenatchee and finance, where there seems to be an issue of funding and stability.
Hopefully this can be resolved and we will seen a BCHL franchise in Wenatchee soon.
