(sorry little late on the report)
Two goals in each period was enough to see off the Grizzlies,2.5 forward lines in a 6-0 Powell River victory on Sunday afternoon.
With 14 skaters dressed it was always going to be a bit of an uphill battle and minus Mark McLellan, the Grizzlies could only muster 13 shots on the night. Matt Scarth with two goals and former Grizzlie Evan Richardson with two assists would see the Kings well on the way to victory.
A decent effort from golaie Nick Taylor, stopping 38 shots on 44 attempts kept the scoreline down.
The powerplay fizzled going 0 for 3 on the night as Victoria returned home empty handed after this two game series.
The Grizzlies return to Bear Mountain this Friday tot ake on the Langley Rivermen and then Saturday at home to the Nanaimo Clippers.
